All Boys to Represent New Ethnic Line

SOUTH PARIS, Maine - All Boys Distribution and Street Royale Media have signed an agreement granting All Boys exclusive North American, European, South African and Australian distribution rights for all Street Royale titles.

"I was contacted about a week ago by the owner of the line, and I must say I was interested because his first film went from 43 as a debut on JRL's charts to 21 the following week, then to 15 the very next one," All Boys President and Chief Executive Officer Rob Ragan said. "I've been wanting to sign an ethnic line, but I wasn't necessarily wanting a ‘thug' line because I have a very good relationship with Adam at Global, who supports all of my films in New York, and I wouldn't want to infringe on his part of the market. We were very pleased with the type of content [Street Royale Media President] Charlot [Aime] was doing, so we as a group here All Boys made the ultimate decision to enter into a long-term, multi-film deal that I sincerely believe will really do well for us."

Aime said, "My staff's first priority is to deliver quality. Our second priority is to show that ethnic performers can be depicted in a genre that is more in line to how they individually identify - that is, non-thug. That lead me to contact Mr. Ragan to make sure that our product was represented by an individual who delivers other quality niche products by using a personal approach and touch.

"Our product is innovative and what is not to be expected from an ethnic product line," Aime continued. "We appreciate Mr. Ragan's positive position to allow my team to continue to deliver quality. Mr. Ragan, like me, has characteristics of a true professional, and I look forward to our working relationship."

All Boys plans to release one Street Royale title every month during 2008. The first in line is Carlito Gets His Way, which will be released in April, Ragan said.

"One of the strongest things about this line is the models are very, very well hung and the shooting style that Charlot uses goes against 90 percent of what you'd normally get with an ethnic film," said All Boys Post Production Manager Jayson Hanson. "We felt that this would be a fantastic edition to our stable of high-quality niche studio lines because it has everything that we try to focus on for exclusive rights, which of course begins with the quality of both film and models."
