All Boys Acquires New Studio Contract, Account Manager

SOUTH PARIS, Maine - All Boys Distribution has signed niche studio BerlinStarFilm to an exclusive distribution contract. Under the terms of the deal, All Boys will release six BerlinStarFilm titles in 2008, starting with Little George Blows Berlin.

The German studio took the 2007 David Award for "best new studio."

"BerlinStarFilm is being brought into the U.S. market by All Boys via our European friends at OTB Video, another of All Boys' award-winning exclusive production lines," All Boys president Rob Ragan said. "I met with Andi from OTB in Vegas at the January show, and he first presented the line to me then. I looked at the cover of one of the films that had two models wearing gas masks and unbelievably tight leather clothing, and I thought to myself ‘This definitely is nothing like what anybody else is doing in the States.' Coming as a strong referral from OTB, it took all of 10 seconds for me to agree to represent them."

BerlinStarFilm produces fetish content with a German edge.

"Our videos are some of the most extreme fetish material on any market today, and Little George Blows Berlin is just a very mild taste of things to come," said EWE Stoll, director and producer of the BerlinStarFilm line. "Future releases will turn the U.S. fetish DVD market on its head and will blow anyone away who's even remotely interested in the topic. We're confident that All Boys' strongly motivated sales approach can best penetrate - no pun intended - the market in the U.S. Besides, although we are a young label, we feel quite at home among the other high-quality labels in All Boys' portfolio.

"Introducing extreme material like ours to the U.S. requires intimate knowledge of the market in all its many facets, and that's something we trust Rob to bring to the deal," he continued.

All Boys also welcomed a new account manager to its ranks. Crystal Veinott will handle house accounts and promotional work, Ragan said.
