LOS ANGELES - Adult Source Media in May will release what the company believes to be the first full-length, fantasy based, XXX gay computer-generated movie.
Pirate's Booty recounts the legend of notorious swashbuckler Jack Swallows and his crew as they sail harsh seas and encounter rough, dirty, hardcore sex. The crew is helped along by a ghostly presence that lusts after everyone on the ship and possesses quite a few of the salty seamen in order to experience "buried treasure" for itself.
"I believe that our gay audience, more than most, appreciate what they sexually desire, or just fantasies in general - the unattainable, in a sense," said ASM founder Wendy Crawford. "Who better to make a full fantasy-based adult CGI movie for? We have now bridged the gap between the gay market and the animated market. Fans of our gay titles have asked, and Pirate's Booty delivers.
"The great gift about CGI characters is we can make them flawless, and they don't care if they're a top or a bottom," she added. "They can switch roles at any time. They don't even have to wear a condom. We have some great characters."
Leading the cast are Swallows, first mate Jukes, a muscle-bear disciplinarian, a native islander and a cabin boy. Each is rendered in realistic computer-generated graphics. Examples may be found at PiratesBootyXXX.com, which features frequently updated image galleries and trailers. Upon release, the movie will be available at the site in its entirety.
Pirate's Booty runs 60 minutes and contains five hardcore scenes. It is expected to hit store shelves and AdultSourceMedia.com May 12.
Since its birth in 2004, Adult Source Media has won multiple awards for its animated adult content. Crawford is active in the animation community, where she consults about animation piracy.
