CYBERSPACE—JasonBateman.com no longer hosts a portal pointing to an impressive selection of gay porn websites. Instead, the domain is parked with a web host and contains a list of links to much tamer fare.
Bateman, the Golden Globe-winning star of Arrested Development who can be seen on the big screen currently opposite Jennifer Aniston in The Switch, took legal action against the site’s former owners when he discovered them using his name without permission. His attorneys retrieved the URL.
“Jason Bateman was a big gay porn site,” he told the Toronto Sun. “JasonBateman.com. It was for a long time. We sent some lawyers on that.
“It was worse—it wasn’t even a gay porn site,” he amended. “It was a gay porn hub. ‘From here you can go to thousands of porn sites.’”
