ASG Readies Three New Releases, Plans New Websites

TEMPE, Ariz. - After several months in post-production, ASG Entertainment's South Beach Diaries should begin hitting the streets by early January, studio owner Angel Skye said this week.

"Dark Alley will be distributing it later this month or toward the beginning of January," Skye told GAYVN.com in an email. "The movie is being replicated as we speak and will be at our offices in a matter days."

The company's next release, R.A.W., is due out in late January, Skye said. It will be followed in February by The Outsider, if all goes according to plan.

"I am shooting for a Valentine's Day release," he said. "[The Outsider] is my final performance in front of the camera, and I have a very hot scene with Kurt Wild [that is] not to be missed."

In fact, Wild and ASG have formed an alliance that will launch Wild's official website under the ASG label, Sky said.

"Kurt is a very talented young man who takes his work very seriously. He's also a good friend," he averred. "I met him about two years ago and reached out to him after his Subway incident, which we intend to help him with as well."

Wild was fired from his job at a St. Louis-area Subway sandwich shop in September after a customer recognized the gay porn performer and threatened to organize a boycott of the store if Wild remained on staff.

"We are very happy to announce he will be part of our family, and he will be getting wings from this Angel to let all that creativity out on his own line of products, which I am sure is great news to all Kurt fans," Skye said. "Instead of tying people to exclusive contracts, I'd much rather give them an opportunity like the one that was given to me.

"I hope Kurt is one of many porn stars to join ASG," he added. "I believe the direction we are headed will be key to our success. Many people don't see it, but porn stars really do have loyal fans who care for them genuinely. If you have seen Kurt's Yahoo! group, you know what I am talking about."

As for the future, ASG plans to begin filming its next feature, Prom Night, in late January.

"We plan to release it in time for Memorial Day," Skye revealed.
