AEBN to Broadcast Dark Alley Media Content

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - AEBN and Dark Alley Media have inked an exclusive video-on-demand deal that will make all of Dark Alley's gay adult titles available on AEBN's network of Web theaters.

In addition to the main Dark Alley line, the deal also includes titles by Dark Alley subsidiaries Prime Pork Productions and Jalif Studios.

As part of the deal, AEBN and Dark Alley will co-produce 12 new titles. The first is expected to premiere later this year, according to company representatives.

The seeds for the partnership were planted in March when Dark Alley's Passio debuted on AEBN. The film incited controversy with its religiously themed plot.

AEBN plans to launch Dark Alley titles in waves at the average rate of three per month. This week, the studio's Shockwave, directed by Matthias von Fistenberg, will debut.

"We're very excited to have entered this partnership and gain all this amazing content," AEBN's Chris Baker said. "Dark Alley Media has always been so controversial, and we are pleased to be the exclusive VOD [provider] for these controversial films. We can't wait to see what the future holds, especially given our joint projects."

Dark Alley's Owen Hawk said, "We took over a year to consider all the options for Dark Alley Media's VOD partner. We are confident that working together, we will strengthen the Dark Alley brand, increase the reach of our product and altogether continue to kick ass."
