2010 Grabby Winners Announced

CHICAGO—The 19th Annual Grabby Erotic Video Awards took place Saturday night at Park West, followed by the Grabby Blackout Party. Hosted by director Chi Chi LaRue and diva Honey West, and co-hosted by adult performers Diesel Washington, Roman Heart and Jeremy Building, the gala awards ceremony was the climax of weekend-long festivities in Chicago that wind down Monday.

Raging Stallion Studio's Focus/ReFocus was the big winner, taking home several of the top awards, including Best Movie, Best Screenplay, Best Actor (Cole Streets), and sharing Best Supporting Actor (David Taylor) with Falcon's Asylum (Diesel Washington) and Best Director (Chris Ward, Ben Leon, Tony DiMarco) with Channel One Releasing's Taken: to the Lowest Level (Chi Chi LaRue). The latter also won for Best Box Cover, Best All Sex Movie and Best Solo (Adam Killian). Asylum also received a nod for Best Art Direction, and Lucas Entertainment snagged Best International Movie and Best Videography (Mr. Pam) awards for Men of Israel. Adam Killian and Tony Buff received Performer of the Year nods and Best Newcomer went to Austin Wilde and Samuel Colt.

"I am really proud of our studio—Kent, Tony, Steve, Ben, Bruno and all the guys who make our company what it is," said Raging Stallion President Chris Ward, commenting on the studio's eight awards. "I really also have to thank the wonderful actors who over the past year put on some amazing shows for us. It's a real thrill to be at the top of our game and able to attract the most amazing talent in the world.

"This is the third year in a row we have taken the top prizes," Ward continued. "Raging Stallion is really on a roll, and our hard work has really paid off. We are so fortunate to still be able to make these big-budget films—the kind of movies that not only make lots of money but also stand the test of time and define erotica for a whole generation of porn consumers. And we have huge plans for our big fall shoots this year, as well. Hopefully, we can out-do ourselves again next year."

Trevor Knight, Ross Cannon, Dink Flamingo and Jason Ridge were added to the Wall of Fame.
