CHATSWORTH, Calif.—The pre-nomination period for the 2010 GAYVN Awards opened Wednesday. The website is live and ready for industry input regarding the best gay adult films, performers and web properties delivered during 2009.
In order to be considered for a 2010 award, a production must have been released between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2009. Newcomers, studio marketing campaigns and web-based promotions and marketing efforts must have debuted during the calendar year 2009.
DVD and web categories are included in this year’s awards lineup.

Industry members who would like to make pre-nom suggestions to the GAYVN Awards staff may email [email protected] for a username, password and link to the submissions page. The pre-nom website, usernames and passwords will be active until 12:01 a.m. PT March 6. Until then, users may access their lists to make additions, deletions and corrections.
“You are free to suggest as many items as you like in each category,” said Gayvn. “Do note, however, that being shrewd about your suggestions will yield a more desirable result than creating a laundry list of titles, not all of which may represent your best work or your company’s.”
Studios are asked to provide two copies of each title they would like the GAYVN Awards judges to consider. The DVDs should be shipped to arrive no later than 5 p.m. PT March 12. Address all deliveries to:
