Crack Whores of the Tenderloin Soundtrack

Review

The artwork for Crack Whores of the Tenderloin parodies that of the Kill Bill Vol. 1 poster, and, in following, the soundtrack - composed by Crack Whores director Joe Gallant - does a pretty fantastic job mimicking the eclectic mix of oldies-style rock, Eastern-tinged new age, Spaghetti Western neoclassical and half a dozen other things with which Quentin Tarantino scored his grindhouse epic. There are even touches of klezmer and O Brother, Where Art Thou?-variety country thrown in. And at nearly 70 minutes, the album's a bit of an epic, itself.
