Having worked as a dancer since she was 18, Katarina Kay is no newbie to the adult industry. Her porn name comes from her love of cats and fear of dogs so she and her agent came up with Katarina Kay, “or just Kat.”

Armed with a new name, she began shooting porn in September 2013 and performed her first scene with the Miami-based studio Reality Kings. “It was a boy/girl/girl [scene]. It was Cum Fiesta with Sami St. Claire.” And with that the soon-to-be 21-year-old fell in love with the business. “I knew I’ve wanted to do this,” Kay said. “There’s not much else I can say. I love it.”

That love has carried her through several titles that focus on newbies, including Cougars, Kittens & Cock 3 (Jules Jordan Video), Brand New Girls (Kevin Moore/Evil Angel) and Cherry Poppers (Illicit Behavior/Black Market).

Originally from New Orleans, Kay was raised in a very religious family and never watched porn. “I was a strong Southern Baptist person before I even got into dancing. I was very religious until I got started.”

Now that she’s crossed over into adult, she’s in it to win it. “I want to go as far as I can go, and I’m going to do everything I can to get there.”
