Biography

Stormy Daniels doesn't claim to be the adult screen's reigning goddess of desire, but she would be right in calling herself the most driven. After nearly five years as a Wicked Pictures exclusive, she continues to command superstar status in both the adult and mainstream entertainment communities, most recently by being crowned the February 2007 Penthouse Pet Of The Month, and by completing the most ambitious project of her career as writer, director, and performer, "Operation Desert Stormy."

In the adult realm alone, Stormy has received a wealth of recognition for her stylish beauty and passionate performances. She won AVN’s coveted Best New Starlet award in 2004, and received nominations for her fine work in both "Eternity" and "Space Nuts.” The latter was featured in HBO's popular "Pornucopia," and also led to her getting roles in both Universal Pictures' $100 million-grossing Steve Carell blockbuster "The 40 Year Old Virgin," and its sequel, "Knocked Up." Interestingly, the release of "The 40 Year Old Virgin" coincided with Stormy winning “Centerfold of the Year” from High Society Magazine. An inventive writer, she was only with Wicked for four months when she wrote her first screenplay, “Kink." Her contract was soon expanded to include writing. She directed her first film, “One Night In Vegas” in 2004, and true recognition of her diverse talents came at the 2006 AVN Awards, where she won both Best Screenplay and Best Supporting Actress for "The Camp Cuddly Pines Power Tool Massacre."

Stormy never fails to set a new standard for female sex symbols, and continues to diversify in exciting ways. She has formed Stormy Industries, a production company designed to create new product to be distributed through Wicked Pictures. Her freedom at Wicked has allowed her to grow as a performer as well as a writer and director. She has penned, directed, and starred in such popular erotic comedies as "3 Wishes” and "Sleeping Around." The high quality of her output was rewarded when the 2007 AVN nominations were announced, and she received a fistful of noms that spoke to the richness of her talent, including Best Director - Video (for "Gossip"), Crossover Star Of The Year, Best Actress - Video (for "Taken"), Best Screenplay - Video (for "3 Wishes"), and Contract Star Of The Year, which she also won!

Eager to share her story with the world, Stormy wrote of her successful transition from actress to director in the book “Naked Ambition,” and toured to promote its release. In the last year, she has walked the red carpet at the Grammys, graced the pages of Playboy Mexico, appeared at a Charity Poker Tournament with Carmen Electra, guested on "Dirt" with Courtney Cox, was interviewed on "Loveline" with Dr. Drew, and turned in a guest appearance on Comedy Central's number one show, "Mind Of Mencia."

Her marketing outreach includes a licensing deal for posters and calendars which are available in mainstream retail outlets nationwide. Stormy is also the first adult star to be nominated by Exotic Dancer Magazine as “Entertainer of the Year” two years in a row.

In the Internet realm, she's won KSEXRadio.Com's "Sexiest Porn Jockey" award two years in a row, and was selected as CAVR.Com's "Star Of The Year" for 2006 and "Best Features Director" for 2007. Not surprisingly, all this high visibility has enabled her to pick up Mainstream Media Favorite awards from both the XRCO and Adam Film World.
