A day after quitting his elected post as the law director for the city of Bucyrus as part of a plea bargain for accessing porn on his office computer, Andy Motter has announced that he will run for the job again.rnrn

"Yes, I'm circulating petitions and yes, I intend to run for law director," Motter, a Republican, said this morning. rnrn

Motter, 46, pleaded no contest Tuesday afternoon in Crawford County Municipal Court and was found guilty of misusing his city-owned computer, a fifth-degree misdemeanor. rnrn

Besides his resignation, Motter was also sentenced to 20 days in jail, suspended unless he commits a similar crime, and fined $125. rnrn

Last December, Motter was removed from his position as a juvenile prosecutor in Richland County for the same offense..rnrn
