LoveHoney Launches U.K. Sex Toy Awards

BATH, England – Online retailer LoveHoney has launched the U.K. Sex Toy Awards and is looking for 20 women to volunteer for the inaugural judging panel.

“Unlike most award ceremonies, which hand out gongs based on the whims of a self-appointed panel of so-called experts, the U.K. Sex Toy Awards will be judged by the people whose opinions matter most: U.K. women,” said Bonny Hall, LoveHoney’s head buyer. “It will be the first time that women have been asked to decide which is Britain’s best toy.”

The U.K. Sex Toy Awards’ short list features 30 types of sex toys from LoveHoney’s best-sellers list.

LoveHoney plans to recruit 20 judges to test the top 10 sex toys, Hall said. After a month of testing, she said, the judges will review and rate their 10 toys in detail.

To apply for a spot on the U.K. Sex Toy Awards judging panel, complete the application form.

Winners of U.K. Sex Toy Awards will be announced in the September issue of Company magazine.
