Djustine 3 reads exactly like its predecessors, chock full of gore and sex that pads what one might charitably call a simplistic plot. It?s clear by now that Teodorani has little to say. A pity; as the western/horror genres make an excellent playground for sexual themes.

This time he adds classic Universal monsters to his horde of zombie cutthroats, beginning with the rape of Djustine?s lesbian girlfriend Consuelo by the Creature from the Black Lagoon. Frankenstein then kidnaps her for some choice slab action, only to be confronted by an equally horny werewolf. Tradition requires a horrific death match. Dracula swoops in to finish her off, until Djustine fires a handy silver bullet. Couldn?t see that one coming!

Conan artist(s) Frank Frazetta and John Buscema?s influence is deftly channeled by Hoffman and Bulgarelli. Their work is exceptional; way too sophisticated for the material. (The remaining artists are far less skilled.) We suggest keeping the aforementioned cartoonists ? and find a qualified writer.
