Michael Raven's new take on paranormal phenomena is not as compelling as his The Visitors, but it's well acted and directed, with excellent special effects.
Kirsten Price, whose husband has just died, moves into a house with her best friend (August). It turns out to be haunted by the ghosts of a murder-suicide. They enlist a medium and two ghostbusting scientists to chase out the bad spirits.
Unfortunately, the story doesn't really start rolling until a good third of the way through the picture. When it finally picks up steam, it has some effectively scary moments.
