This film utilizes a vignette structure that allows just enough drama to add zest to the sex, but avoids getting bogged down in "having a plot." Although the action mostly consists of blowjobs, there is plenty of variety in the style and tone of the scenes.
The rough hair-pulling and slapping in the opening number could stand right alongside today's harder-edged fare, and another scene includes a fetishistic snowball, which also seems ahead of its time. Then there's the vampire fantasia scored with Ravel's Bolero!
Damiano had a decent budget and professional film crew for this one, and it shows.
