America's 10 Most Wanted is asolid offering, the kind of quality product that should help to increase the market for adult DVD: ten gorgeous girls in ten terrific scenes (chapter stops at the beginning of each), excellent picture and sound, and over 100 still photos included as a bonus. Stock and recommend this one with confidence.

Ten and Rocco's Mysterie, on the other hand... despite the presence of Teri Weigel and Rocco Siffredi, we were hardly crazy-in-love with this one when it came out on tape, and the transfer to DVD hasn't done anything to change that. The sex isn't bad, but the titular performers get together only once, and the story of betrayal and vengeance is a bit hard to follow (editing doesn't help), let alone believe. The dialogue is dubbed, even when the English-speaking actors are obviously speaking English. Frequent pops and static plague the soundtrack at large. And while the picture is generally clean (other than some bits of dust and scratches on the film original), rapid movement (pelvic thrusts, for example) tends to result in a loss of detail and/or a subtle strobing effect.

Extras include a promising-looking menu with eight screens previewing the content of each chapter; a listing for the Gen XXX Website; nineteen hard and soft photos from the feature; a box cover shot from Masquerade; and credits for both the film and the DVD.

It'll probably sell on the strength of the stars alone — but customers will likely be disappointed.
