Meet Alfie: young, single, and very available. Alfie's only problem is that he thinks women are only good for one thing, and it's not cooking!

Actually, Alfie, played marvelously by alan Price, does quite nicely with the "birds." That is, until he meets a beautiful feminist, Abby, played by the sensuous Jill Townsend, who represents a real challenge to Alfie's moronic macho mentality.

We all have seen this same story before, but director Ken Hughes spices it up a good bit. He's filmed his story entirely in England and France, so viewers will be treated to some beautiful scenery.

Oh Alfie features a few very softcore sex scenes that are noteworthy. Dynasty fans will especially enjoy the scenes with Joan Collins who portrays one of Alfie's various lovers. Unlike some of her other films, it appears that Ms. Collins really reveals her beautiful body for all to see.

Oh Alfie is a surprisingly enjoyable film if you do not take it too seriously. It's reminiscent of the popular American adult effort, Nothing To Hide, but without the great sex. Remember, however, British people like their beer warm.
