It is said, that necessity is the mother of invention. So it follows that Forbidden Desire is the product of necessity. In other words, why waste the cast of Forbidden Desire if there's film left in the can and time left on the clock? Of course this is only an educated guess, but what else can I assume when presented with two cassettes that feature the same cast and writer/director? This is all of little consequence, but then again so is Forbidden Desire. Last month's Challenge Of Desire was much better.
The plot can be summarized as such: Diane (Lilly Marlene) has an itch to scratch, so she visits the local sex therapist for "treatment". Sound familiar? Except for brief moments with her wading into a pond and covering herself with mud (wonderful therapy, try it sometime!) the rest of the film follows Diane and her adventures in the forbidden zone. This may be super for anal sex fans, but some of us do like a little short story to beef up the sham-bang. Forbidden Desire does not provide it, which is a shame because it has a terrific looking cast that simply flounders in the usual plotless void.
