Filmed in old-fashioned vignette style, Bedtime Tales plays like "Five Stores In Search Of A Theme." Each segment takes place in a different era from Victorian 1915 to New Wave 1985. A female voice introduces us to each segment in meaningless pseudo-hip style.

What's lacking, of course, is a common thread to tie all of the sexual shenanigans together. What misses as that thread is the aforementioned narration.

A gaggle of porn's top performers are on hand (and lips and genitalia), and all are quite hot in their extended spotlights, Ginger Lynn, looking about 18 years old, does her dirties to become de-virginized by coach Paul Thomas, circa 1955. John Leslie, Randy West, Joanna Storm and Gina Carrera survive the Great Depression with an even greater four-way. Dick Howard proves anal sex punky, but chic, in the 1980's with Shaun Michele and kinky Chelsea Manchester.

Unfortunately, lack of focus mars this potentially AAAA sizzler. Too bad, because much of Bedtime Tales is dynamic, under-the-covers porn.
