Wow! First we get An Unnatural Act, followed by Kinky Business, and now, to complete the hat-trick, Talk Dirty To Me, Part III. Producer Jerry Ross and Dreamland Home Video have scored an unprecedented three-for three, again garnering our highest rating in a system considered, by many, to be somewhat stringent.
We basically have a hardcore version of Splash that has absolutely nothing to do with the first two Talk Dirty To Me movies. Tracie Lords, who, if you can believe this, has never looked more beautiful, plays a mermaid in search of the perfect human man. She shows up everywhere – while her target lover John Leslie fishes, in Ginger Lynn's swimming pool and in the lake at a nudist colony. Of course, she has find in the water and legs when she's on land.
She learns to talk dirty by listening as John Leslie has sex with most of the other female leads in the movie, most notably with buxom blonde Amber Lynn (hence the title?). The subplot has Leslie, a stud, hired by friends Jamie Gillis and Colleen Brennan to break up their son's (Tom Byron) relationship with Ginger Lynn, be seducing her.
In addition to Jerry Ross' wonderfully witty script (Leslie tells Amber Lynn about the mermaid and she says, "sounds like a movie I saw"), Talk Dirty To ME, Part III sizzles in sexual delights. Ginger Lynn is the best oral expert of 1984 and she proves that to Tom Byron. This scene achieves new heights of eroticism when both participants can be seen dripping with sweat, among other bodily fluids.
Also, Leslie and Tracie Lords, who wins my vote for best breasts in the industry, finally get it on at the end and it's well worth the wait. A great superfluous lesbian scene that Gillis gets sandwiched in, is also noteworthy.
And, finally, the acting is uniformly marvelous, with Leslie in usual fine form, Lords particularly much improved, Ginger Lynn as orgasmic as ever, Colleen Brennan extremely believable in a small role and Jamie Gillis very restrained and quite good as Byron's father.
Note: Since Talk Dirty To Me, Part III is one of the best adult films I've ever seen, I recommend that you buy it, not just rent it. You'll be happy to find a beautiful red velvet inner-case that adds a touch of class to an already classy production.
