A sort of Revenge of the Sex Nerds, Strange People Make Strange Bedfellows is a decent idea that needs a little more oomph to make it work.
Two jive black chicks (Sahara and Jeanie Pepper) are taken to a bizarre house of goofs by a horny hitchhiker (Kimberly Carson). Once there, they meet – and, of course, have sex with – the place’s inhabitants, an oddball selection of preppies, nerds and a truly disgusting character called The Mole.
The selling point, I guess, is the interracial sex. Both Sahara, a feline-like presence, and Jeannie Pepper, a big-busted, fast-talkin’ Mamma, act convincingly horny, but their big scenes disappoint. There’s a sizzling, sordid three-way with Pepper, melon-breasted Amy Rogers and well-petered preppy Kevin Gibson. But even that ends without panache with Gibson wacking off. I couldn’t think of a worse way to end this potentially ecstatic sequence.
Strange People…shows that there’s some thought going on in the sludge of shot-on-video porn. It also shows that people can indeed be strange bedfellows, but not always exciting ones.
