Kelly Nichols is the hottest radio personality in town, but station owner Jamie Gillis has promised her job to his latest, Janey Robbins. The story-line follows Kelly's attempts to keep her job.

I would have liked to give Slip Into Silk the highest rating but somehow my own personal distaste for the character Mr. Gillis always seems to play is just too much for me. Here but for his brutal nature, is the epitomal couple's film, maybe the best I've seen this year. I guess I've held open too many doors, and he seems to like to shut them in the girls' face.

I must admit that, while I have never been a big fan of Janey Robbins, her portrayal of the dummy who will do anything for a job (even total degradation at the hands of Gillis) is superb, and bears remembering when AVN presents its award nominations for 1985.

A good film, yes, and for those with differing views on the relationship of a man and a woman, maybe a great one. But if you feel as I do, relish in the lovemaking of Kelly Nichols and Eric Edwards at the top of this movie, and treat Gillis and Robbins as caricatures. Then Slip Into Silk will be a rewarding experience.
