Parliament Video's idea of putting their magazines onto video is a good one, and it's working well; I've enjoyed three of their first four releases. They're taking one specialty interest (i.e. fetish) and making a 30-minute no-frills featurette masturbation tape.

Shaved, Number 1 features two short shaving episodes, one with a beauty named Loren Sands. She finds a shaving magazine, imitates it and then uses a silver dildo to try out her clean shaven are. My only hope is that this lovely creature enters hardcore. Her counterpart, nurse Sandy Jones, follows the same pattern (only she uses a different dildo). For those who enjoy shaving on tape, Shaved, Number 1 will be your elixir (providing you're not looking for hardcore).

On the other hand, Geisha Girls, Number 1 is a boring masturbation tape. Oriental women are no longer a specialty, and although newcomer Iris is pretty, the lack of male/female action here leaves me wanting  more. Kristara Barrington masturbates on a bed, but nothing here is new. Kristara's talents can be found in numerous hardcore videos and films. This tape needs more punch to make fans of Oriental women want it. The strip-tease scene with Iris... well, try not to fall asleep.

A mixed batch indeed, but a great idea whose time has come. I look forward to the next group of specialty "magazines."
