Before you read any further, I've got to say, the real star of this tape is Harry Reems. When you talk about acting in adult productions, this guy is an Actor. When I saw him in some of his earlier works, I assumed he was probably in a Shakespeare company somewhere and did sex films in his off hours. And when he's well directed, as he is in this video, he still shines. No wonder he won this year's AVN Award for Trashy Lady.

Harry plays Ronald, a wimpy guy married to Leonora (Adams), a great looker. But if there's one person she doesn't get hot for, it's Ronald. Enter Ronald's old friend Jason (Butler), who gets all the girls —and with some of the worst opening lines ever seen in a decent adult tape.

And those girls he gets are nothing to sneeze at. The always-lovely Nina Hartley plays Candy, one of Jason's bar pick-ups, who not only makes it with him, but also her girlfriend Gloria. Imagine how disappointed I was to see that all those beautiful moans during the Jason interlude were all overdubbed! Fortunately, the girl/girl action is left intact.

Of course, it all ends happily. Yet, I have the creepy feeling that there's a message about marriage and fidelity in Ronald's encounter with Leonora that is rarely seen in adult cinema.

Of note are the continual shots of the bartender making it with his barmaid. She's cute, and it's a very good idea directorial... but I wish they'd been a bit hotter! We'll be looking for lots more work from director Stuart Canterbury.
