Reviews

Stylish, moody, loaded with glistening sex and ultimately, extremely disturbing, Savage Fury takes a standard exploitation film theme, rape and revenge, and brings it to new sexual and violent heights.  Now I hate using those terms together since Savage Fury excels strictly as a very hot sexvid up until the last five minutes. Just be forewarned that the revenge sequence at the end makes Taxi Driver look like a cartoon by comparison.

Five scumbag guys run into a bunch of college girls who respond nastily to their sexist advances, so they take revenge by forcing themselves on the girls in their dorms.  They don’t really rape them, since the girls love it.  But a year later, the group of beautiful coeds decide to seduce these bastards and then, blow them away. Rambo meets Ms. 45 when these girls machine gun their foes into oblivion.  Ah, but not before they f*** them into oblivion in a marathon of incredible sex.

I’ve never seen a hotter Christy Canyon than in her sexual sequences here.  And Bunny Bleu, usually a raucous performer, excels in two individual segments. In fact, all of the sex is well-filmed, with generally good video quality and only a few glitches.  And even with a good story and ultra-strong female characterizations, Savage Fury never forgets that it’s a sex tape and it delivers in wall-to-wall doses.

I only have one suggestion.  Mark Curtis might have foreshadowed the ending by putting some footage of the guys being blown away at the beginning, and then flashbacked to show the reasons why.  This way, any of the anti-porn feminist groups who might see the forced-sex part and not wait to see the revenge, wouldn’t be able to complain about a film where the women machine gun the men at the outset.

Linda Blair, where are you now?
