What a surprise!  I haven’t seen a XXX’er that is so much fun in ages!  Spys has a truly sill storyline, with so many bad double entendres thrown in I was laughing out loud and having a great time!  Come on now… when was the last time you heard “Is that a roll of quarters in your pocket, or are you just glad to see me?” (answer: “I have no pockets.”)  Spys has it all!

This little ditty is the story of novice spys sent out to retrieve stolen microfilm.  What they don’t know is that the house they have to infiltrate is actually run by ladies paid to check out just how thorough the spies’ training has been.

The first two spies on the scene are Peter North and Tony Martino.  North fakes an injured leg to gain entry into the house, and from there on in it’s seek out and examine all spaces in search of the microfilm.  Jeannie Pepper does an admirable job of tending to North’s sore knee (see above quotation), and the two share one of the steamiest, most erotic scenes ever to hit the all-video screen.  Pepper teases North into a frenzy, not letting him touch her until she’s shown him all she has to offer… and she’s got quite a bit!  This scene is intercut to a session with Martino and Towswer, and an off-beat sequence with Candie Evans, Krista Lane, Mr. Carrot and various other vegetable friends.  From this point on, it’s one great sex shot after another until finally the action culminates in an orgy that is this video’s only drawback.  Whereas most of the sex scenes were too short, the orgy was far too long.

The technical quality of Spys lives up to expectations: different angles throughout, the editing is among the cleverest I’ve seen in a video production (the cuts to salad-making are inspired), and even the music adds to the erotic enjoyment.  Only the sound quality is not quite up to par.  But, the performances are top-notch.  Pepper, especially, is quite erotic, and Evans and Lane play a great pair who do everything together.  Kudos to Mark Weiss for a well-written story and to Ron Jeremy for fine direction.  If you’re seeking more than just micro-sex and microfilm, your search is over.
