Jane Bond a traitor? That's the way this latest shot-on-video adventure of our blonde heroine begins. Amber Lynn leads her boss (Robert Bullock) into a trap, and then with Golden Rod (Herschel Savage) plots to rule the world. Bullock, however, turns the tide on his captor (Viper), and after administering a sound trashing escapes to save Bond and capture Rod.

What starts out as a good premise quickly gets lost among several unnecessary - but entertaining - erotic encounters between the forces of good and evil. For instance, the lesbian encounter between Krista Lane and Tiffany Storm adds little in the way of plot development, and the same can be said for the "crunch" threeway with Peter North, Lynn and Storm. Still, we get to see some veteran performers doing some erotic things with each other. Of course, everything leads up to the supreme match up between Amber and Savage for all the marbles. The ending is predictable, but acceptable.

Production qualities are good, and director Jack Remy elicits pretty good performances from everyone in the cast. More plot (maybe a few erotic gadgets and less cheap tricks like strobe-light hypnosis) and less sex for sex sake would have made the story more palatable. Amber is quite capable of handling the lead in tapes such as this. And she should be given more of a chance to do so. Stronger scripts will make the sex more meaningful and erotic. We can get cheap thrills in any number of loop compilations. Full-length tapes - and especially an on-going series - should strive to develop character and scenario to last for the life of the collection.
