The box boasts the headline “The Russians… The Marines… The Secrets… The Sex…,” but although we see the Russians and the Marines enjoying the sex, the only secret is the video’s plot.  Now, as close as I can figure, there’s this American embassy without any real purpose.  Because there’s no real diplomatic activity going on, it only takes two Marine guards to watch the place. Then the notorious C.A. Puckett (Brittany Morgan) is sent by the C.I.A. for some reason or another.  Well, naturally the K.G.B. sends two of its agents to learn what’s going on, not that anything ever goes on besides some serious bedroom negotiations.  Anyway, they spend their time exploring the limits of the new Soviet openness.

All the action only occurs between various combinations of couples, which seems a bit strange as there is apparently only one bed for the five characters to utilize.  Now with people bored and incredibly horny, I would thin they’d all jump in together rather than patiently wait their turn.  Fortunately for East/West relations, they manage to develop a meaningful dialogue between them.  One such typical exchange of ideas and philosophy goes like this, “You’re K.G.B., right?  Okay, take your clothes off!” I don’t know where these Marines got their training, but I’ll bet the boot camp this is real popular with new recruits.

With a laughable script, incredibly poor acting, ridiculous uniforms, stumbling direction, two rooms for a set and standard seen-it-a-million-times-before action, Sexpionage could have been a total waste of time.  But then there’s Dana Dillon. She is unquestionably HOT!  Not only is Dana a gorgeous treat for the eyes, the rest of the cast is also quite attractive. In fact, considering what they had to work with, perhaps the wisest move was to skip the talking, forget the plot, lose the seduction and get right down to business, which is just what they do.  Got yer Glastnost right here, Comrade!
