I don't know if you've sen the real Geraldo commercials with some cute, beguiling young pup playing him as a wannabe newsman. But some of Heraldo's (Rick Savage) tossaway lines in this feature are things Madison Avenue scriptwriters kill for.
Savage/Heraldo is grilling hookers Mandy Wine and Tracey Adams, and by cockeyed inference and extension (just like real tabloid journalists), tries to make a case for an international conspiracy of automakers responsible for prostitution. Redhead Wine is so cute, you just want to jump into the TV set and grab her.
Scored with actual footage of NYC girls at work, the sex scenes are woven into the Heraldo interview format plausibly and entertainingly. Looks like Gotham with Ingley's clever creative strokes is fashioning themselves a string of winners.
