"The Unauthorized Biography Of Traci Lords" plays like a series of disjointed rumors. Without any real insight into the behind-the-scenes world of adult films and without ever attempting to diagnose why Traci Lords would have knowingly attempted to pull off her grand scheme, Traci's Big Trick subjectively chronicles the last few months of Traci Lords' career. At this point, maybe we should start using the word allegedly.

Still, no facts are known. This video is based on information that the producers acquired from sources. Little here can really be confirmed, although many people from the inside of the adult video industry are portrayed doing things that I seriously doubt that they'd want to put in a videocassette.

For example, director Mr, Black (very obviously Greg Dark) is depicted as asking Traci to go down on him before being hired for a movie (again, very obviously New Wave Hookers). In fact, they attempt to recreate the Traci Lords scene from that successful film.

Also, Guy Sadler (portrayed by Ron Jeremy and is obviously Sy Adler), who signed Lords to an exclusive contract before news broke of her underage status, is seen talking to his own penis after engaging in sex with Lords and a character named Stuart (Jerry Butler, playing Lords' alleged boyfriend Stuart Dell). Since Jeremy is alone in that segment, I wonder who knew that he talks to his penis. And there are more industry references that may or may not be true.

Technically, Traci's Big Trick suffers from too many close-ups of faces in bad lighting and plenty of editing gaffs. There are several logistic flaws as well (the airplane they're riding in has light coming in from both windows and it doesn't even look like they're in a plane) and the video quality is just fair. Sexually, Traci's Big Trick runs the standard course and if you like Jacqueline Lorians, she's in practically every scene. The most humorous sex scene occurs in a limousine where Traci has sex with Honi Webber (believed to be the producer of this tape, and played here by Sharon Mitchell). The camera constantly cuts to Stuart and Guy Sadler who comment on Lords and Webber making it together. Is this to prove that everything else in Traci's Big Trick is the truth?

In fact, will somebody tell us the truth. We're still confused.
