Hotel California is a slick, funny tape containing a series of short independent stories held together by a common setting and the hotel employees. Each segment centers around the personal problems faced by guests, and Hank the bellhop, played.by Jack Baker, is a perfect foil for some of the antics.

The sexual action is a notch above average, but the dialog comes through in grand fashion to sustain interest. The best segment details a newlywed couple, humorously played by real-life spouses Buck Adams and Janette Littledove, who were married after an 18-hour courtship. It soon becomes apparent they should have gotten to know one another better before going down the aisle. Another intriguing interlude concerns an older married couple. Herschel

Technically, Hotel California succeeds with "you are there" close-ups, passable direction and believable sets. The music seems out of place sometimes, but there's enough of a plot structure to make up for it. About the only serious criticism concerns the long preliminaries before the sex scenes begin. It's refreshing to see an adult video that moves fast and is fun to watch. Hotel California is a tape most will view several times!
