It had to happen. Take any successful movie or TV show, and you can be sure that there'll be an adult spinoff. In most cases, the explicit version is an abysmal rip-off. But L.A. Raw should not be confused with TV's popular "L.A. Law," as it stands on its own as a professional, arousing piece of porn.

Of course, the story centers on lawyers, sort of. The lawyer of a wealthy businessman is sleeping with his client's wife, while the businessman is cheating with his secretary. And there's two shady lawyers trying to expose all the parties involved to make some big bucks. But nothing is really what it seems, as the twist ending will reveal. Confused? It's not that hard, really; but then again, most viewers don't watch adult erotica to get engrossed in the plot.

As for the sex, well, that's another story. The performers all give fine accounts of themselves. In particular, Tom Bryon and Shanna McCullough sparkle in their extended foray. In fact, most of the sex scenes are rather long and drawn-out, but their steam makes up for the length. L.A. Raw is just what the judge ordered to help keep couples out of divorce count. This jury (of one) has found in its favor.
