In 1957, Mary Lou Maloney is an evil, dark haired, teenage hussy whose jilted boyfriend, Bud Cooper, incinerates her as she is named prom queen.  In 1987, Vicki Carpenter is a sweet, blonde teenage cutie whose principle is named Mr. Cooper.  And prom night is drawing near.  Got it?  Anyway, vengeful Mary Lou's spirit which has been locked in a trunk, is released and well, well, hello Mary Lou.

This is a derivative little film that borrows from Carrie, The Exorcist, The Evil Dead, and about 23 other films. But Wendy Lyon as the possessed little Linda Blair-nik is very good and the film lives up to just about every expectation.  buckets of gore, loads of violence, title-nymphet-nudity, incest, religious desecration, lesbianism, girls' locker rooms -- you name it, it's here.

The director and writer did their homework.  The effects are good, the mood stylish, and the actors don't really intrude on the action.  A tutti-frutti little movie.  It's fun, humorous, and moves along at a nice pace.  If you could dance to it, you'd probably give it an 8.
