In the brand new awards category for best maniacal laugh in a dramatic feature, the winner is. . . Bill Margold.

At least in my opinion, the best character actor the adult industry has ever seen, Margold in Born To Burn operates this "hellish" resort that kind of resembles a motel complex on the outskirts of Las Vegas. (Actually Howard Hughe's estate).

All the dolls that reside there wear bikinis, oil up and sweat a lot. Everyone remarks how "hot" it is. Everyone takes off their clothes. Margold, meanwhile from a safe distance, observes and cackles like he and Dante are enjoying a private joke in the Inferno. No one can figure out how they mystically got to this place, but Margold and The Shadow know. . . hah-hah-hah-hah!

Hot blonde newcomer Amanda Tyler plays a spoiled-rotten actress who is totally immersed in her vanity. It isn't before long she's totally immersed in a hot lesbian scene with Bambi (Porsche Lynn), a stripper who apparently got on the same special effects shuttle as Senator Vain (Peter North) his wife, played by Havana; a skid row bum -Tom Byron and a guy who fixes things, Marc Wallice.

Well, the set up is that everyone being in the same boat, commiserates and makes "friends" at the behest of devilish hostess Krista Lane. All of which culminates in the obligatory orgy mixer. Tyler and Havana, by virtue of being fresh faces, capture the most attention. And, may I add, the new Beta-Cam system in which this feature was shot, adds some real vibrancy and lustre especially to the many outdoor shots.
