If you remember gorgeous Simone Griffeth from such films as Death Race 2000 and Hot Target, you're definitely going to want to see this obscure little entry from the 1970's.

I'm a Griffeth fan and damn near fell out of my chair to see her in this picture. She plays Naomi, the virgin daughter of a backwoods couple (Ford Rainey-Mercedes McCambridge) who walks around with virtually a halo over her head. Simone takes extended nude dips in the woods and walks around like the quintessential flower child.

All this idyllic wonderfulness changes, of course when the family discovers that the state of Georgia is giving them $8000 for a parcel of land to run a state highway through.

Excuse me? $8000 isn't exactly a sum of money you'd kill over, but everyone in this picture acts like the family hit the big time. Nearly every jackal within 300 miles of Atlanta is figuring a way to con the family out of their little largesse.

The theme here is that money being the root of evil that it is, destroys beauty and harmony. Griffeth loses her virginity to a stunt biker, and her slightly goofy brother, Bruvver, is seduced by a carnival stripper. Griffeth sheds her clothes in a number of scenes, and you'll be surprised at how you're sucked into the story.
