If I were teaching a college class on historic film erotica and had to hold a film up to the light as an example of a classic of the nudie genre, it would have to be The Wonderful World of Girls. Besides having a wonderful title (sometimes an obvious title is the best title), The Wonderful World of Girls should be required viewing for all glamorphiles in general, female body parts lovers in particular, and anyone else who's still trying to figure out exactly what we at this mag mean by "tease". The Wonderful World of Girls is cocktease to the max with plenty of epidermis on array to keep the blood from backing up into your brain.

The Wonderful World of Girls operates on a very simple premise. There are two characters named Fanny and Sammy. Fanny is obviously some guy in drag and Sammy is a guy wearing the worst paste-on organ grinder's mustache since a cheap Mafia movie. During the course of the film, Sammy and Fanny encounter a number of delicious lovelies who just take off their clothes like that, with Sammy drooling, and Fanny hitting him over the head with a handbag for so much as daring to look — all very burlesque.

Absolutely gratuitous is about the best way to describe this gourmand's smorgasbord of skin. That this picture is nearly 30 years old and can still arouse an audience fitfully speaks all the more for the immortality of beauty. One noteworthy episode has four female applicants for a nudist colony doing a group strip-off to the spasmodic delight of Sammy. The action is paced beautifully throughout, with the camera getting right in there to observe nature in the raw like a slobbering schoolboy.

From the same director who's credited with Notorious Daughter of Fanny Hill, The Wonderful World of Girls is one of the best offerings available in Something Weird Video's extensive notalgia catalogue. This is one you can't afford to miss.
