What's happening at the mansion? The Playboy tapes are turning up the heat a notch or two, with this little gem just having won AVN'sBest Alternative Tape award in the featurette category. Why is it hot? No fancy camerawork, for a change — just plain and simple girl watching at its best.

Playmates in Paradise is chock full of pretty dames slipping in and out of bikinis against the lush tropical foliage of Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Jamaica. Not much else to say about that other than the occasional talking-heads segment, of which there are a few.

A couple of segments are positive standouts. One features a "No Nude Sunbathing" on the beach segment where, you guessed it, the gals doff their suits and romp in the surf. The other is a waterfall scene which features more of the same.

An extra bonus features the making of Playboy's new sexy soap opera Eden with an accompanying nude pictorial of some of the gals who jiggle and wiggle as cast extras.
