Using every objective criteria, I can't honestly say this all-black pro-am series is anything but sub-par. There are no anal scenes, no groups, no singles, no lesbos, no lip-quenching finales, no exciting, interesting or unique sexual action, and the production values are just barely so-so. Of the scenes in Vol. 1 ("Black Narcissys"), the best features F.M. Bradley and an uncredited girl doing the most basic bump and grind on a bench-press. It should come as no surprise that the hottest scene in Vol. 2 ("Midnight Madness") also features F.M. and another (more attractive) uncredited girl doing the same basic thing on a similar piece of work-out equipment — "basic" being the operative word here.

Still, it should be noted that with a cast featuring some very attractive ladies of color and some of the biggest Afro-Ameri-Studs of the last decade, Ebony Erotica may be appreciated by those, as the old saying goes, who like their sex the way some like their coffee: straight and black. For the rest of us, we can only hope that Vol. 3 will come with a few tasty side-orders as well.
