We open with Madison doing a little living-room strip-tease for Master Seven, followed by a brief lesson in discipline, then move seamlessly to the torture of Melanie Moore at the hands of that same Madison. Frankly, neither Madison (who seems to think giggling at every lash does something other than break the mood) nor Moore (an otherwise fine actress) seem up for the rigors of a B&D video. Most of the time everybody (except Jordan and Arianna in the closing scene) is grinning so much, you almost think that getting whipped is a reward and not a punishment. There's almost no tension in Depraved's first 45 minutes and B&D without tension is cruel and unusual punishment indeed.

However, Depraved is indeed deserving of some praise. Production values are very high, the women as beautiful as any you'll see anywhere, the equipment employed extravagant and a finale as hot as anything Seven's offered in the past. Too bad what leads up to is so ho-hum.
