The word "rarity" doesn't seem to have definition or take significance in the Something Weird Video lexicon, and here's another reason why.

A hard-to-lind Dan Sonney (a famous exploitation film pioneer who partnered with adult film icon Dave Friedman) film emerges from the vaults in the form of Pussycat Pussycat. This early nudie flick is a strictly voiceover, "Peeping Tom" narrative about the adventures of a retired door-to-door salesman who doesn't seem to sell anything but who certainly has great timing when it comes to catching women in the altogether.

As far as connecting with the audience, however, it doesn't get much more impersonal than this. We never learn the fellow's name, and we're not even sure of the products he sells, but with a faint trace of Irish brogue, this gent (he looks a little like Brando in The Godfather) reminisces over a snifter of brandy and a cigar about naked woman. Now, those ARE things we can connect with.

There are six sexy little skits about horny housewives, sassy sun worshippers, leggy strippers and unbashful artists' models, and each little fling into fantasy offers the full onslaught of nudie film gimmicks and luscious cheesecake magazine poses. It's only a guess, since there are no cast credits to verify this, but one of the models in the cast could be a very young Marcia Jordan.

If for no other reason than to grab a hold of a Dan Sonney flick, Pussycat Pussycat should be a part of your vintage collection.
