Two country hicks (Biff Malibu and Ted Wilson) sit around bitching about the heat with their girlfriends (Charisma, Michelle Monroe). Without further ado, Monroe and Charisma sneak off for a bedroll together. Guess they thought that would cool them down. Steve Drake, Brigitte Aime and Trinity Loren knock on their door and announce car trouble. They get invited in and a routine and methodical partner swapping follows.

Luscious and vastly underrated Brigitte does Biff, intercut with Trinity and Ted Wilson humping on the couch. Then the girls reunite and decide to swap, so Ted bones Brigitte, and even though most of the scene is flagrantly simulated, the heat rises. Michelle Monroe wraps the affair up with a steamy coupling in their garage when suddenly, out of the blue, her brother shows up. He forces Ted and Michelle into marriage (since they have sinned); the visiting threesome leaves, and - that's all she wrote...

First off, it's a shame that we don't' get to see Charisma take the bone, but I suspect that has to do with Charisma's career choices rather than with direction. Second, what's with all these extreme close ups? Hasn't anyone realized how sick and tired we all are of JUST that?

On the positive side, French-Canadian Aime stirs up a boner with her newly-done gorgeous tits and hard body. Trinity Loren is a pro and knows how to "steer" a scene: and Michelle Monroe has an adolescent quality that's a real turn-on. But all in all, Southern Side Up is basically an average skin vid: not hard-boiled or even scrambled, just over-easy and way too runny.
