This video is an interesting example of what can happen when the T&A genre takes itself to seriously. Not that this is serious – it's a standard low-rent farce – but a reasonably literate scriptwriter and an ambitious production concept have led them to toss in every possible cliche story element of the genre. Is it a find-the-model contest? A good shepherdess of nubile girls against the evil rival? A reform-school-girls redemption through nude dancing? A lost-little-girl gets rescued bit? A sleaze-meister-comeuppance tale? A video blackmail farce? An extended commercial for dance club Goldfingers? It's, God help us, all of them – and all seven of the "good" female protagonists get a love interest and a resolution. The result? A "farce" as stolid as Al Gore, that doggedly puts one heavy boot in front of the other, trudging through every labored bit to the three or so endings. This is a long 92 minutes. With T&A glamour maven Paul Borghese in charge of casting and porn vet Larry Revene as director of photography, you can expect some great shots of some great babes – only most are too short, as the demands of the kitchen-sink plot leaves too little time for the T&A. The showcase babe is Kimberly Taylor, a short, pretty brunette with a very artificial set of tanned boobs. I preferred all her cohorts from the girls' reform school – dumb-blonde sexpot J.J. North; sweet-and-shy, tall, naturally busty Grace C. Renn; and sharp-featured, spectacularly-shaped free spirit Ellaina Biesty; or Sylvia Kristel's assistant Lisa Madison. Yes, Emanuelle returns, and she does flash her well-remembered tits briefly at the end. Jane Hamilton, aka Veronica Hart in her porn days, is frequently topless in her Elvira-manquee role ,and while she's not supposed to look great, her boobs sure do. But there's too little satisfaction in the T&A payoff, and Kristel lacks the charisma to carry the leaden multiple plots. I'd love to see the same production crew, and some of the same babes, in a tape that only uses say, two of the story lines. Or even, you should live so long, an original story!
