This is a tough tape to review. It's pretty good overall, but it's not really a bloopers tape. Yeah, there's a few real bloopers, and a few belly laughs as a result – like P.J. belching and fartying through her co-star's dialogue in Three Wives, or P.J. and Debi Diamond tumbling over the back of a sofa as P.J. tires to slip her nipple into Deb's pussy, but there's more outtakes than bloopers. I mean, we all realize that there are extraneous noises, interruptions, faked orgasms, and the like which are edited out on the way to a finished product, but seeing these is no big deal.

Wes Emerson and writer Martin Brimmer were clever enough to frame these outtakes in a tongue-in-cheek "how-to" tape – by showing us how-not-to. It works well enough, except that P.J. is too sullen a hostess, and Jonathan, as usual, too smartass a host for the full effect. Blooper tapes usually try to throw in a couple of complete scenes for the heat value, and there are some good choices here – Tyffany Million and Mike Horner, from The Boss, P.J. Mike, and Mark Davis, from Three Wives, and an unedited version of the Flame/Deidre Holland girl/girler from Night & Day (all Everson Video Team tapes). I question placing the girl/girler last, and it takes chutzpah to follow this long scene with no less than 12 minutes of blooper outtakes from the P.J./Jonathan narration from this tape – unfunny after about three minutes, and a cheap pad-out of this standard-length effort.

If blooper tapes do well in your store, you won't go wrong stocking this one, but it's no centerpiece of a porn humor section.
