This is one of the most amazing S&M videos you'll ever see. It's a full blown, 35mm Cinemascope film from Japan (letterboxed), dating from the late '70s/early '80s. It has no subtitles or dubbing, but the plot is a simple one to follow. A beautiful young school teacher reports for her first assignment in a strange town, and gradually falls prey to a conspiratorial group of teachers and students whose sadistic motives are unclear.

Eventually she is abducted and held captive in a dungeon and subjected to a variety of torments: beatings, forced enemas, candle waxing, simulated forced sex and other diabolical diversions. But that's not the end of it. There's a real story here. The woman is smart and lethal in her own right (a martial arts expert), and several attempts at escape build the drama to an exciting crescendo: a hanging!

The technical merits of this production are as good as any mainstream film, and the storyline, even without dubbing, is more powerful than any specialty tape on the market. The word on the street is that Bon Vue has another such Japanese S&M film in its vaults. Let's see it! (But this time, why not hire someone who knows Japanese to dub it?)

Retailers, if you carry any S&M tapes at all, don't miss out on this one. Display Birds of Prey prominently, recommend it to your specialty customers… and be sure to save a copy for yourself!
