No video store that carries softcore erotica along the lines of "Red Shoe Diaries" should be without this quality series of European imports. Each tape contains two half-hour bawdy tales based on stories by old masters such as Boccaccio, Chaucer and Guy de Maupassant. The production values are of the highest quality, and the dubbing completely unobtrusive. Perhaps the best feature of the series, though, are the beautiful, young girls cast as ingenues and Liliths.  The camera approaches each fresh, supple form as if it were a coy lover, offering teasing glimpses of ivory hands and velvet lips before revealing rosy nipples and brazen buttocks in all their glory.

Each tale is like an O. Henry story, presenting an erotic dilemma with the invariable twist at the end.  Almost all of them involve cuckoldry (one of the top ten funniest words in the English language).

Some personal favorites from the series: In "Mandragora" (Vol. 3), a conniving medical student persuades a nobleman that the only way to knock up his infertile wife is by giving her a drug that, alas, will prove fatal to the sperm donor.  When the husband begs off, the student finds a suitable guinea pig: himself in disguise.  The sweet wife's closely guarded charms are thus surrendered to the clever liar, while the cuckold passes around the cigars.

"A Well Deserved Punishment," in Vol. 5, presents us with a classically beautiful brunette grappling with the jealousy of her overbearing husband.  She can't so much as look out the window of her room/prison without incurring the suspicion that she's flagging down a lover.  A crack in the wall provides an opportunity to get her silky hand made love to in a finger lickin' good sequence.  As the crack widens, so do her opportunities, which she takes advantage of out of a combination of spite and raw lust.  Before long, the husband's fantasies of being a cuckold have been fulfilled.

In "The Wager of Three Wives" (Vol. 6), a trio of wenches make a pact to cheat on their husbands.  Each preys on her partner's particular weakness.  For example, a luscious redhead with strawberry-dollop nipples and smooth, grasshopper legs outwits her lascivious hubby by getting him to seduce their new maid -- actually her young lover in drag!  She catches them just before consummation, flies into a phony fury and insists that the poor, innocent maid spend nights safely in her room.

You get the idea. "Secrets of Love" is great for couples and singles alike.  Stock the whole series and watch it fly off your shelves.
