Picture director Ron Howard with a red beard and wire glasses, and you pretty much have the take on Dirty Bob, author of this long-running gonzo video series, shot on the soft edge.

As you'd gather by the title, Apollo 13 this tape ain't, although (XXX's) Houston is mentioned and appears several times throughout.  Rather, it's a video chronology of events leading up to the 4th Annual Central Florida Adult Entertainment Awards Show.  With no particular disrespect intended, one of these accolades and a dollar bill gets you through a buck toll booth.  Yet Bob, even after all these years on the fringe of the adult business, manages to follow his video subjects with the impassioned glee of someone who's been given a lifetime pass across the Ohio turnpike.

From the huggy-huggy, kiss-kiss moments at the Tampa airport, to a group invasion of a local gym, to the complimentary suck-up to regional sex goddesses, Bob tosses in just about every activity outside those which occur in the kitchen sink.  Though total nudity is always a given wherever members of the XXX industry congregate, one has to have a certain built-in tolerance for some of the rampant excess which these tournaments of fashion breed.  You'll get the drift during the course of this tape.
