Within the framework of this stylish, sometimes garish but ultra-gimmicky visual piece (picture an editing bay on acid), the title symbols all manage to rear their dramatic heads, often in strange little ways. This includes pink flamingos (thank you, John Waters). The texture of the show is something of a '50s concept-piece, judging by the inclusion of some tacky automobile commercials the likes of which usually wound up on the screens of neighborhood drive-in movies.
Beyond cars and fast girls who ride in their passenger seats, white panty advocates are also well served for their viewing loyalties. Especially with the likes of Holly, whose pert-and-perfect ass gives her wet white briefs and excruciating but visually fulfilling workout. Holly's in-and-out-of bikini segment also strikes vintage chords for viewers old enough to remember the famous arcade glamour girl loops.
Unfortunately, some of the segments in this compulsively-edited tour de force are letter-boxed to death, but such is the price paid for vanguard extravagances.
The masturbation scene featuring Phaedra and a cigar is worth the price of admission, however.
