From the Heart starts strong, delivering a white-hot sequence with Tony Tedeschi and Stacy Valentine in a very white room. The scene ends with Tedeschi waking to the sound of his alarm clock, late for class, again.
They work together at a college town bar. He digs her, but she doesn't see it. She's looking for a rich guy, he solaces himself with hookers. From this not-very-original premise, writer/director Thomas Paine has fashioned a hot and romantic video. Valentine shines as the looker with a heart of gold, encountering an unexpected pregnancy, an overdose, and a slow realization that Tedeschi is the guy for her. The final Valentine/Tedeschi scene is worth the wait for romantics and thrill-seekers alike.
Paine mixes in the and less-explicit footage seamlessly inthe five sex scenes, making From the Heart a sure-fire winner for your couples trade. Video photography by Torch is first-rate, achieving film-like images with video equipment.
