Tanned, fit, and looking tasty enough to spread on a cracker, current  Baywatch star and video hostess Traci Bingham opens up with a monologue drawing a tenuous comparison between Playboy magazine and the enormously syndicated show Baywatch. "Both enjoyed international success," she offers, "and both have introduced you to the world's most beautiful women." That's as far as credibility goes - unless we were off draining the lizard while David Hasselhoff was interviewing Henry Kissinger or reading passages aloud from John Updikes' latest novel.

But we digress. True to their forms, Erika Eleniak, pamela Anderson, Shannon Tweed and Jenny McCarthy all went from foldout-of-the-month status to perky 'n' bouncy lifeguard-on-duty (or guest star) status with varying degrees of success, as did a dozen other babes whose ability to fill out a snug red swimsuit will linger on after their names have faded from memory.

The aforementioned heavy-hitters all make impressive cameos here, performing such familiar routines as the scarf dance, the wilderness walk and chaise lounge shuffle. Although the customary scenarios they inhabit are more diaphanous than their outfits, as long as the bodies keep changing at a rapid enough clip one can forgive the creative vacuum from which they were spawned.

As expected, a goodly portion of the captivating participants are sun-bleached blondes. Immediately, with an almost magical life of its own,the key phrase "with big tits" almost jumps off the keyboard and attaches itself as a tag line at this point. So expect a lot of top-heavy, light-headed nymphs splashing around in the ocean, trying on leopard-spotted undergarments, twirling around backstage, and, suspension of disbelief willing, repairing their own cars.

All well and good, but the minimal helping of brunettes make more impressive subjects in our opinion. (Besides, they don't have unwieldy boob jobs.) The two Lisa - Boyle and Scott - perform a pair of delicate tease numbers. Scott goes solo, framed by a curtained picture window; while cute Asian Lisa Boyle makes new inroads in the fine art of satin undie removal, heating up her on-screen male partner (the only guy, by the way, appearing in the vid). For these two scenes alone the tape is worthwhile.
